( VILLA CASTELLI)
Villa Castelli stands on an ancient cultivated promontory that overlooks the Valdelsa. Here rise the family winery, the historic farmhouse, the orchards and the olive groves, together with the vineyards that give life to our Chianti Colli Senesi and Vernaccia di San Gimignano.

LUCII
VERNACCIA
DI SAN GIMIGNANO
Vernaccia Casa Lucii is born on the ancient ridge of Villa Castelli, where altitude, exposure and stony soils shape a wine of purity and precision. Its natural freshness, mineral depth and delicate aromatic structure reflect the unique character of this historic promontory overlooking San Gimignano.
The company headquarters at Villa Castelli rises on a site whose history is well documented in Emanuele Repetti’s 1833 Dizionario Geografico Fisico Storico della Toscana.
Repetti recalls the ancient parish of Santa Maria and San Lorenzo di Villa Castelli, already mentioned in a papal bull in 1220 and long connected to the ecclesiastical life of San Gimignano. These historical references illuminate the deep roots of this promontory, which has been inhabited, cultivated and administratively significant for centuries.
Podere Villa Castelli
Villa Castelli reminds us that a place shaped by centuries does not reveal itself at once, but through the quiet persistence of its stones, its slopes and the lives that have passed across them
